Frederick Hart (American 1943-99), 'Heroic Spirit', Lucite sculpture, based on the Olympic motto 'Faster, Stronger, Higher', artist's proof 4/40, sculpted with authorization of the U.S. Olympic Committee, in celebration of the Centennial of the modern Olympics and the 1996 Atlanta, Georgia Olympic Games. Copyright dated 1991 and inscribed Fal A.P.IV C, height 66 cm. With lithograph of the working drawing for the sculpture, AP4/85, signed, dated 1993 and presentation inscribed by the artist 60 x 45 cm.
