A sterling silver clad biscuit bowl or preserve pot, 1902 Sheffield, with maker's mark for James Dixon, Ellipse shaped with a low domed lid, the body comprising a series of vertical wire worked loops of graduating size to a shaped border, gadroons to the rims, the heavy clear glass liner with a starburst base, crisply hallmarked to the lid and base, also with registration mark, silver weight 299gr (without liner) height 10 cm, (pot rim)
