Eugene Dienst (French, active c. 1870-1900) Louis XVI style mahogany, satine and parcel-gilt console table, c. 1890 the rouge marble top above a carved apron decorated with gilded acanthus leaves and flanked by laurel branches, raised on fluted legs, the x-shaped stretcher centred by an urn finial, stamped 'E.
