An Art Deco bejewelled wristwatch, Cartier. Circa 1920's. Manual wind. 20 x 20 mm. Case numbers 17516 2082 9324. Ew & C Co Inc Swiss movement. Square shaped white dial with Roman numerals and blue steel hands, in a white gold case grain set with approximately one hundred and forty-five rose cut diamonds and two 5 x 2 mm rectangular cut onyx. Diamond set crown, completed by a 1.9 cm wide, 17 cm long flexible seed pearl and platinum mesh bracelet, and a hidden tongue clasp grain set with twenty single cut diamonds. Total estimated diamond weight 1.0 carats. 18ct white gold and platinum. French assay hallmarks. Dial signed. Original box. This watch is currently not in working condition.
