An early Victorian mahogany longcase clock, by Shedden, Perth (1813-1871), circa 1840, the enamelled Roman numeral dial signed Shedden, Perth, within a brass bezel and hood with pointed and finial crest. The body with a pair of columns flanking the door, raised on a plinth base. The eight day movement, striking on bell. 218 cm high, 46 cm wide, 25 cm deep. Provenance: Purchased from clocks of Distinction, NSW, 17th March 1992.
