A large pair of Japanese silk embroidered panels, Meiji period (1868-1912), one panel decorated with a branch of blossoming cherry, the other with a wading egret in a pond with water lilies, both with embroidered signature and seal, mounted in round-cornered black lacquered frames with gold lacquer details to the base including a mon (family crest).
