A Chinese carved biscuit porcelain box and a vase for incense tools, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, the two unglazed white biscuit wares comprising a compressed globular box and a bamboo form vase, both with carved applique decoration of plum blossoms and butterflies. Together with original receipt of purchase. Provenance: The Gwenneth Haines collection. The vase 12.5 cm high, 5 cm diameter. Provenance: Purchased from wing Kei, Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, 1989.
