A magnificent George IV sterling silver swing handled basket, 1825 London, mark for Richard William Atkins & William Nathaniel Somersall, a finely cast and chased reticulated border richly populated with game animals and fowl amidst woodland settings within a rocaille border, a central roundel featuring a falcon attacking a hare, with an armorial crest, 'Semper Eadem' and raised on stepped base, the swing handle conforming; hallmarked, silver weight 1343gr height 10.5 cm, diameter 34 cm
