Traditional Japanese Katana with unsigned shortened tang. Being from the Koto (old period sword) circa 1350 to 1500.Having good original polish with quality civilian mountings. Having a pleasing shape. Complete intact hamon with boshi (tip section). Having a black lacquered scabbard. Note apparently the most admired and appreciated hamon in Japan is the Suguha or straight hamon. Blade length from the hilt 70 cm.
