The square onyx cased clock, decorated with alternating lapis and mother of pearl panels, surrounding a central circular blue enamel dial with Arabic numerals. With an 8-day Swiss movement. Housed in original leather case. Provenance: The contents from the Peninsula home of Sir Ian Potter and Lady Potter AC. The clock 9.8 cm x 9.8 cm. Purchased by Dr Bouverie Anderson Stuart from Hardy Bros. London in 1925 as an engagement present for Emma Scott Pell, by decent to Lady Potter
