Shiebler, New York, circa 1890, the openwork bowl decorated with fleur-de-lis and scrollwork enclosing a central lion rampant crest with a fleur-de-lis handle. Inscribed to verso Mme Melba/ from/ S.D. Stamped sterling with Shiebler mark and numbered 3317 to verso., 13 cm long, 7.7 cm diameter,
