A 19th century fruitwood miniature music box, the hinged lid set with a panel finely painted in oils depicting a scene possibly from the Crusades, a tortoiseshell panel lines the interior of the lid, the clockwork mechanism unmarked with a 57-note comb playing on a 6 cm cylinder, the exterior painted with a faux wood grain effect. 10 x 6.5 x 3.8 cm
