A 19th century 9ct gold half hunter pocket watch by J.W. (James William) Benson, the lever wind three-quarter plate movement signed and marked 'The Bank, Best London Make' along with the maker's Ludgate Hill address and numbered Y.6742. The 5.1 cm (2') case, by the same maker, with gold dust cover, hallmarked London 1873. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, railtrack minutes, sunken subs seconds dial. On 9ct graduated curb link fob chain with gold T-bar and dog-clip. Total 121gm.
