Nearly every example is dated and located, with examples including Lough Foyle, Ireland 1848, Lough Swilly, Ireland 1853, Moville, Ireland 1854, Cape of Good Hope 1854, St.Kilda 1872, Brighton 1874, Queenscliff 1876, Portsea 1876, Queenscliff 1881, St.Kilda 1882, Manly Sydney Harbour 1884, Lane Cove 1884, Watson's Bay 1886, Botany Bay 1886, Bondi 1887, Manly 1888, San Remo 1890, Flinders 1897, St.Kilda 1898, San Remo 1900, etc. (100s). Accompanied by a letter (May 1980) from Iona Christianson of the Department of Botany, Monash University, in which she confidently attributed the collection to Henry Thomas Tidsdall (Ireland 1836 - Australia 1905); an early member of the Field Naturalist's Club of Victoria.
