Platinum, sapphire and diamond pendant necklace, circa 1930, centring a collet-set cushion shaped sapphire weighing 11.59 carats, framed by an openwork scalloped surround millegrain-set with circular-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 0.14 carat, completed by fine trace chain, length approximately 260 mm, accompanied by a GSL report numbered AA63305, stating that the 11.59 carat blue sapphire is natural, with no indications of heating, of Ceylon origin.
