A Japanese lacquer Suzuribako, Mid-Edo period, early 18th century, decorated with scattered nashiji, decoration of takamakie, hiramakie, keuchi and kirikane of both silver and gold, with a design of four deer by a river with chrysanthemum and autumn grasses, the interior with two trays, ink stone and gilt bronze water dropper, 23 x 25 x 5 cm.
