Chinese Neolithic red pottery jar, with slightly turned lip, and tapering body, with impressed decorative border, height 18 cm. Provenance: Purchased between 1938-1970, the Estate of the late Walter Hochstadter, then by decent. Many items from the Hochstadter Collection were sold at Christies 18th/19th March 2009.
