19th century Tibetan silvered and shagreen covered sword, the sheath and hilt cast with dragon and mythical beasts on an ornate vine and lotus ground, bisected by a shagreen band, enclosing a blade with copper inlay to the tip, inscribed 'Tashi Delek' on blade, length 74.5 cm. Provenance: Private Collection Sydney, purchased in Tibet in late 1990's reference: similar but smaller sold at Bonhams, San Francisco, Asian decorative Arts, 18 December 2013, lot 6112A
