16th century Japanese Katana, c.1590, with Nthk paper, 62.5 cm cutting edge, unsigned tang with remnants of old red lacquer attribution, in fine condition with old Japanese polish, the c.1,600 oval iron tsuba pierced with four star constellation symbol and inlaid with waving lines representing water, with shakudo rim, the fuchi decorated with gold paulownia mons, with dragon menuki, total length 93 cm
