A set of six Lorenz Oken (1779-1851) anatomical lithographs, c.1830/40, engraved by C. Schach, from 'Oken's Allgemeine Naturgeschicte IV Anatomie. Showing full and part body elements, nerves skeletons etc. Each 31.5 x 24.5 cm. Individually framed and glazed with TrueVue glass. Note: Oken was a German transcendental naturalist, philosopher and physician, who studied natural history and medicine at the universities of Freiburg and Wurzburg.
