Statement making Theresia Hvorslev for Alton silver 'Reflex' bracelet consisting of six oval links, 35.9 x 25.8 cm, each made up of two folded oval shaped rings. Each link is connected via a smaller round ring, 16.5 cm. Secured with hook and safety clasp. Stamped 'Alton', Swedish three crowns mark and S for silver and Theresia facsimile signature. Sterling silver. Weight 80.0 grams. Length 18 cm (excluding hook and clasp). Width 3.5 cm. Theresia Hvorslev is a Swedish, modernist known for her remarkable output that includes silver hollow ware, tableware, cutlery and jewellery. Her jewellery incorporates a strong direct language of form, with her designs 'Pointing' outward with sparks of life and vitality. In 1964 she returned to Sweden, opening up her own studio. It was during this time that she created some of her most significant works for designers such as Alton and Mema.
