A George III mahogany and amaranth cross-banded secretaire bookcase, probably by Gillows of Lancaster the arched cornice above a pair of astragal glazed door enclosing adjustable shelves, above a secretaire drawer enclosing an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, above three graduated drawers, raised on ogee bracket feet, 110 cm wide, 56 cm deep, 240 cm high.
