Sir Keith Smith, a rare and important 1920's travel trunk owned by Aviator Sir Keith Smith who along with his brother and two service men won the 1919 London to Australia great race. C.1920's tin and oak bound travel trunk with fitted removable tray named Sir Keith Smith painted to lid and several original shipping labels from 1st saloon, from SS Mahenu to Wellington and RMS Tainui Sydney. Provenance: Was purchased c.1980's from a member of the Smith family
