Large Wooden Model of a Canoe, Taranaki Region with plain rounded hull, painted black outside with a type of reed nailed inside for floor. Black wooden bracing, rauawa painted red, 2 paua shell inlays on top of hull at each end. Simple, crude carvings painted red with spirals painted in black. Length 125 cm. Height 41 cm. Width 5.8 cm.
