A Biedermeier birch secretaire abattant, circa 1830, the stepped cornice above a frieze drawer and a fall front writing surface, opening to an arrangement of six short and two full-length marquetry inlaid drawers centred by a Macassar ebony veneered open central section, the lower body with three full-length drawers, raised on rounded block supports, 161.5 cm high, 97.5 cm wide, 51 cm deep.
