A Lord Nelson commemorative armorial plate, by Edme Samson, early 19th century, the circular body with a central shield and the motto 'Tria Juncta in Uno' and the residual motto 'Palmam Qui Meruit Ferat', inscribed 'Nelson / San Josef' and 'Nelson' to the rim within oak leaf and acorn borders. Sampson factory mark verso, 23 cm diameter.
