Rowland, Melbourne, 1884 and 1886, each trophy modelled as a miniature oar with blue enamelling to the front of the blade and gold embellishments, one inscribed to the reverse of the blade 'N.S.W. V. Victoria / Intercolonial Eight Oared race. / Melbourne / 5.4.84', inscribed to the stem 'R.D. Booth . Str.' within a fitted case inscribed 'R.D. Booth Stroke', paper label for J.R. Rowland to the interior, the second trophy inscribed to the reverse of the blade 'N.S.W. V. V. / Intercolonial Eight Oared race. / Melbourne / 24.4.86', inscribed to the stem 'R.D. Booth . Stroke' and stamped 'J.R. Rowland', within a fitted case inscribed 'R.D. Booth. (Stroke)', embossed mark for J.R. Rowland to the interior, 28 cm and 27.5 cm long, each approximately 24gms total weight.
