A gilt bronze and ivory figure of a girl with a large umbrella, after Demetre Chiparus (1886-1947), circa 1930s, incised signature to umbrella, cast from a Chiparus model featuring a smiling girl slightly crouched against inclement weather beneath a large umbrella, with a well carved face, repair to the ivory hands, mounted on a green onyx base with well, height 26 cm, diameter 17.5 cm.
