A fine Victorian inlaid coromandel sarcophagus, 19th century, the slightly tapering box with a mitred stepped lid with gadroon detail, decorated throughout with pierced mother-of-pearl plaques and lion head and ring mounts to the short sides, well restored and lined with lilac grey moire fabric, height 15 cm, length 30.5 cm, width 22.5 cm.
