A refined Edwardian sterling silver fruit serving basket, 1903 London, with maker's mark for Ackroyd Rhodes (Manoah Rhodes & Sons, Bradford - also retailer), the fine, heavy gauge octagonal basket of shallow form with four pierced reserves with pendant snowdrop flowers, integral pierced lug bell shaped handles, raised on a low stepped foot ring, crisply hallmarked, silver weight 611gr, length 32.5 cm, width 21 cm.
