An exceptional antique Indian silver teapot, late 19th century, Kashmir, typically unmarked but X-ray tested as .96-.98 silver, a globular teapot with a domed lid, garlic finial and a fine cobra scroll handle, lavishly relief decorated throughout in the Kashmiri 'Shawl' pattern with a profusion of Chinar leaves and tooled interlocking arabesque bands in mihrab and paisley designs, silver weight 691gr height 15 cm, width 24.5 cm.
