A rare Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette, 1870 Birmingham, with maker's mark for Frederick Marson, the oblong vinaigrette of serpentine profile with applied scroll edges, engraved to the lid with an image of Edinburgh's Scott Memorial, bright cut engraving to the reverse, a foliate grille and twice hallmarked to the gilt washed interior, silver weight 18gr, length 4.5 cm, width 2.5 cm.
