A blue and white shipwreck dish, probably bin Thuan cargo, Wanli period (1573-1619), thickly potted and of slightly irregular form, freely decorated to the centre with a phoenix perched in a lotus and water garden, surrounded by a border of auspicious objects and concentric bands, unglazed to the base and encrusted with kiln grit, height 4.5 cm, diameter 24.5 cm.
