A blue and white phoenix bowl in the Ming manner, a thickly potted ogee profile bowl with foot ring, decorated with a phoenix amidst chrysanthemums to a central roundel, a diaper border within concentric rings to the to the rim, the exterior with a frieze of two phoenix and flowers above a lappet base, the glaze with heaping and piling, the base unglazed, height 9.5 cm, diameter 17 cm.
