A New Zealand colonial miniature rimu and kahikatea lined scotch chest, with thumb moulded top edge, ogee frieze drawer, central drawer with inverse fielded burr totara panel flanked by small drawers, the left with faux front, above three graduated long drawers, the drawers all flanked by dark timber (possibly rata) front corners with pendant finials. Raised on short bracket feet with a shaped apron. Original locks and key. 43.5 x 26.5 x 48.5 cm
