A stunning Aesthetic movement English sterling silver claret jug in the Japanese style, by Richards & Brown of London, circa 1879, and retailed by 'Flavelle Bros. & Roberts, Sydney & Brisbane', with later inscription 'General Manager's trophy Burroughs Ltd. 1932, won by West Australian Agency, C. Ryan Manager'. Burroughs (an American Company) started business in 1890 and was famed for producing accounting machines. It is still running and has now turned it's hand to computers. 32 cm high, 670 grams
