A Georgian portrait miniature on ivory, of a gent, wearing a black jacket and white cravat, the back with glazed panelled back with elaborate mourning mount of locks of hair and gilt bullion along with a fine blue enamel cartouche framed by seed pearls and worked in minute peals with a monogram, all on opalescent guilloche background. Rolled gold frame and in original red Morocco leather hinged case. Height 7.8 cm. $300.00-600.00 [BN756-0012] 0012 A pair of late Victorian portrait miniatures by Ernest Rinzi (British 1836-1909), the lady and gent finely detailed and signed by the artist in gilt and blue enamel frame, the glazed back panels with watered silk. Oval. Height 6.3 cm. Note: Rinzi born London 1836, exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1886 to 1899. He was also a member of the Society of Miniature Painters.
