A maritime model of a schooner, Belle Poule, by Robin Port-Louis, the hardwoods used to create this model include bois noire, boise jeaunne, catia, bois de rose, bois de fer. The Belle Poule was built in 1932 as a training ship for the naval college. During World War II Belle Poule sailed to the United Kingdom to avoid capture by the Germans, and was used by the free French naval Forces returing to France in 1945. Scale 1:32, 140 cm long.
