Gillows of Lancaster, birch satinwood, ebony and Purpleheart, Pembroke table, c. 1845, top and sides with purpleheart string inlay, the rectangular top with two drop leaves with rounded edges, above a drawer and a faux drawer with ebony knobs, raised on tapering fluted legs with castors, stamped 'Gillows', minor loss to string inlay, height 71.5 cm width 106 cm depth 92 cm.
