Pair of Louis XV fauteuils a la Reine, by Jean-Nicolas Blanchard (French, 1730-1787), c. 1770, each with grey painted frame, with cartouche shaped back, top rail and apron carved with a pomegranate, the padded armrests raised on voluted supports with shell motifs, raised on cabriole legs carved with leaves, original Beauvais tapestry upholstery depicting sprays of flowers, stamped 'Blanchard' (2), height 106 cm.
