Lacquered ivory and Silver-mounted miniature Kodansu, Meiji period (1868-1912), decorated with peacocks, eagles and pheasants amongst trees on a diaper ground, with two sliding doors above two cupboard doors opening to reveal a fitted interior, over a long drawer, on a lacquer stand with ivory panels and gilded silver mounts, signed 'Takamasa' in a mother-of-pearl rectangular reserve, height 26 cm width 21.5 cm depth 10.5 cm.
