A famille rose vase, 20th century the ovoid body surmounted by a slender waisted neck and galleried mouth, painted with pairs of stylised chilong centred on a bat encircled with scrolling flower sprays, all between lappet and ruyi head borders, the interior and base glazed in turquoise, the base inscribed in iron-red with an apocryphal seal mark of Guangxu 33 cm high
