A Royal Worcester vase by Albert Shuck (1880-1961), cylindrical form with short pierced neck, standing on four leaf-cast scroll feet, painted with fruit in a landscape. Signed a. Shuck. Printed factory marks, dated 1899, model C42. Height 14.5 cm. Provenance: from the collection of Sir George and Lady Proud. Other Notes: Albert Shuck was regarded as one of the best fruit painters of the Worcester factory.
