A George Ritherdon 22ct yellow gold repousse pair cased watch, gilt metal plate movement with finely pierced and engraved balance cock and three-arm balance, silvered regulation square baluster pillars, white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer five minute dots, gilt hands. With a polished hinged inner case, ornately engraved in 22ct yellow gold outer repousse hinged case with a classical scene of two soldiers and two women at a table. Movement signed. Circa 1760.
