A Victorian ram's horn snuff mull with electroplated mounts, the lid surmounted by a collared greyhound, gadrooned borders on a scroll mount and footed supports. The horns tipped with claw-shaped mounts. Maker George Cutts & Sons, Sheffield, active 1857-1896. Provenance: Rippon Lea Estate, Elsternwick, Victoria, from the contents of Swanton (built 1827), Sutton Forrest, NSW.
