A fine example of a 16-bore flintlock officer's carbine, by Henry Nock signed H. Nock, London, early 19th century with tapering sighted barrel signed 'London', iron tang, flat bevelled border, engraved lock, signed 'H. Nock' and with a semi-rainproof pan and roller, walnut three-quarter stock with leather cheek-pad, having full length exposed ramrod-channel, brass mounts including fore-end cap marked with the number '8', iron sling mounts and original swelling iron ramrod 76.2 cm barrel.
