A Georgian provincial eight day long case clock, early 19th century, by William Stephenson of Dorchester, the oak case with mahogany trim, crossbanding and stringing to the hood and surmounted by a broken arched pediment with formal brass decorations, the painted dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial and date wheel, and flanked by slender columns, the body with reeded columns above an extended base, with mechanism and in working order, height 216 cm, width 51 cm, depth 25 cm
