An Australian Colonial chest of drawers C.1820, Tasmanian George III period, cedar with blackwood and Tasmanian oak secondaries, one piece 10 mm cedar top with reeded edging, five drawers, replaced brass escutcheons and, hand turned rondel handles, on bun feet, the solid 10 mm blackwood back board with clear pit saw marks, and the central tongue and groove joint with, adze marks, John L Glover Electoral paper found inside, height 104 cm, length 109 cm, depth 56 cm
