A porcelain coffee pot, painted by Mamie Venner, the Limoges body painted in colours with a phoenix to either side on a gilt lustre ground, signed to the base, height 22.5 cm. Other Notes: Mamie Venner (1881-1974) was a leading member of the South Australian Society of Arts and her work is represented in the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Museum of applied Arts and Sciences, Sydney.
