A cast iron lion statuette, by Milne Brothers, Sydney, the seated lion after the lions outside the Treasury Building on Macquarie Street, marked 'Milne Bros makers Sydney' on a blackwood plinth, height 12 cm. Provenance: The Ruth Simon Collection, privately acquired from the above in 2005. Other Notes: Milne Brothers was a foundry in Balmain.
